Match days are about our players enjoying their football, developing their skills and representing Ardagh United with pride. Working together, we can ensure every match day is safe, enjoyable and positive for everyone.
Check Before You Travel
Always check the website and the latest message from your team coach before travelling. Matches and venues can change due to weather or other circumstances.
Your coach or team administrator will share changes as soon as possible.
Arrival Times
- Players should arrive at the time requested by the coach, not just kick-off time.
- Allow time for warm-up, team talks and preparation.
- Let your coach know in advance if your child is running late.
Matches are a team activity. Punctuality helps everyone.
What Players Need
- Full Ardagh United kit if required
- Shin guards—must be worn
- Suitable football boots
- Warm top or rain jacket
- Clearly labelled water bottle
- Any necessary medication
Please bring water to matches. No fizzy or energy drinks.
Parents & Supporters
- Encourage all players positively.
- Let the coach coach. Avoid shouting instructions.
- Respect referees, opposition players and supporters.
- Applaud good play from both teams.
- Never criticise a player publicly.
- Help create a positive environment.
Your support makes a huge difference to every player.
Match Invites
Your team coach or administrator will share match details. Reply as soon as possible.
Changes & Cancellations
Check the latest club or coach update. Do not assume the match is off.
Parking
Park considerately and safely. Do not block driveways or entrances.
Facilities
Respect the facilities and leave them as you find them.
First Aid
Each team will have a first-aid kit. Speak to your coach if you need assistance.
